Presta Tubes in Schraeder Rims????
Thanks to Uncle Kevin, I just picked up my new CHARGE DUSTER Single Speed for my daily commute. When I went to put my slicks on it last night, I was suprised to see that it used SCHRAEDER VALVES. I recently bought a 10 pack of tubes with PRESTA VALVES, and really don't want to buy any more. Is it safe to use PRESTA VALVES with the larger SCHRAEDER hole? If not, is there anything I can do to make it safer?
Place your Tee order here
I'm thinking it's time for another tee shirt order as I don't have one any more and was rather jealous of those wearing them on the weekend.
In case you forget, tees look like this:
Only we will have the spelling mistake on the back corrected! Ahem
Price will be $20.30 each (so long as we get at least 20 orders) which is a couple bucks cheaper than last time. Woooooow.
Click on the image for sizing, etc. as per other order.
So... comment here with your order and will set up another running total.
CRC order Pt 2
I have an order in the pipeline for the next day or two with a bit of capacity.
Get em in fast.
The process will be first in till the limit is reached. About $300.
rear vision
So whilst stuck at uni during the week with no real MTB trails other than the tired stair gaps to ride I've been doing fitness rides into the operahouse and back getting my kicks from the "New York Bike Courier" style of riding weaving in and out of the cars but I find it disconcerting looking over the rear shoulder when space in front is so scarce. Has anyone used one of these / has a better idea? Obviously there are the handlebar mounted but I guess with these you can just lift up your hand and swivel around quickly to pan as the area of the mirror is pretty small.

Although it's very clean. Wish there was a store like this in Sydney
Chain's - What breaks?
G'Day Folks,
I went for a ride on Tuesday night and broke my chain (8 speed). Basically one end of a side plate pulled off and I was left with two bent plates with the pin still connected to one of them. It may have been due to shifting under power but I can't be sure.
Is this the "normal" way that chains break?
