Shoe comfort?
Hi All
I just thought I'd get a second opinion rather than living with something I don't have to (let's face it, we've all done that before)
Is it normal to get numb and uncomfortable feet after only 30km or so? Loosening off the straps and wriggling a bit helps but it's still there. It's been the case across 2 pairs of shoes so I doubt it's that. Could this be related to cleat position or is it normal and I should just HTFU?
thanks in advance

SPOT GPS
Hi Mobbers,
This is very cool little device I got the other day to take with me. It's not for everyone but if you need a satellite based communicator, this is really cool. Basically I got caught out with no cell phone reception and also ran out of battery (by running GPS software on my iPhone). Needed to communicate with family and I was stuck. Wife was not happy / worried after arriving late.
This thing allows you to SEND a message by SMS and email (with link to google maps) your location via GPS satellite.

Disc break stuck on
As the title suggests, went for a ride yesterday and about 10km into my ride my rear brake stuck on, made pedalling very difficult Couldn't free it any more than half a turn, tried forcing the pads back but it made no odds. It eventually locked up completely again and my legs couldn't take any more so I took the pads out and completed the ride with just the front.
So two questions, what caused this and how to fix it? Would be nice to have fixed it whilst out on the trail.
Brakes are Avid Juciy 5's on Treck EX8
Cheers
Tubeless Tyre Bubble?
While washing my bike back at home I noticed a Bubble on my tyre.
Any ideas what has caused this, im guessing I will need a new tyre.
Racing Ralphs wont inflate
Need some help guys, I have some 26x2.25 Racing Ralphs, using DT X1800 Wheelset with Stans and am having some problems getting my new Racing Ralphs to inflate, I have been previously using Fat Alberts and I can take them off and on and they inflate easily, however the RR wont inflate at all. From what I can see the bead isnt sitting nicely against the edge of the rim and so wont hold air.
Any suggestions on how I can get them to inflate as I keen to use this tyre for racing and would prefere not to have to order a Crossmark or something else.
got my new bike at last
Well I finally made a purchase.
Picked myself up a 2011 trance X2 today & rode it home.
10km of rd & 8km of single track, love them f&r lock outs makes up hill a breeze

What to look out for in 2nd hand bikes
Hi all,
I'm looking at upgrading to a dualie, though with budget constraints it will be 2nd hand. So just wanted to know what I should be looking out for on a 2nd hand bike. I've got the checking the welds for cracks but as for suspension and the rest I get a bit lost, so any advice would be great.
cheers
MTB Shoes Compatibility
Hi
I have started riding a road bike and i was wondering if it was possible to use my Specialized MTB shoes with a 2 bolt pattern on a shimano 105 group set that includes a 3 bolt cleat system
replaceing rear derailer cable
the rear derailer shift is getting heavy on my trance, was thinking of replaceing cable with a full lenght houseing. Any advice on brand and weather this is a good idea also was thinking of re routing it down under bottom bracket away from shock and to achieve a smoother path.
