Welcome to the 2012 Scott Australian 24 Hour Mountain Bike Championships.
We've Gone Global. CORC’s Scott Australian 24 Hour MTB Championships is the largest race of its type in the world. So the great fun and participation event that everyone loves is still the same, still at Stromlo, but now its part of WEMBO in Australia, Italy and the UK to provide regular world-level competition for 24 hour riders. But, to all Australian Mountain Bikers, its still "The Scott".
Knapsack spin
Glenbrook Oval, Hare St, Glenbrook NSW. Near the skate park. Ride down Moore Street to the start of trail that leads into the main park around the gate.
We ask visitors to please park here to not affect the residents. Plenty of parking plus amenities.

This ride starts at 7 PM at the Japanese School roundabout, to avoid the muddy bits and to get us back before the Tavern's kitchen closes for last orders at 8:39 PM.
Sapphire Coast CycleFest - LONGWEEKEND Tathra (NSW)

The Tathra MTB Club is staging the Sapphire Coast CycleFest this October Long weekend in Tathra on the far south coast of NSW. (Sept 28-OCtober 1
The Festival includes a series of social and beginner rides along with two races - a TUFF 20KM and FUZZY 50km - around the Tathra “Bundadung” Single Track.
There’s also an ocean swim!
Designed to be FUN, not cut throat, the weekend aims to showcase the inredible Tathra MTB Trails, and encouage riders of all skill levels.

Couple of Laps in Appin on the first day of Spring !
North end of Burke St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
Note that the map shows Market Street connecting Appin Rd to this location but that is actually a firetrail and will not work for drivers who should take King St (next block South) and enter from there.
Looking to do a couple of laps at Appin "race loop" maybe more if time and legs permit 
I was there last week and the track was in excellent condition !
WSMTB XC Round 7
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
The 7th round of the WSMTB XC series will be held at Yellomundee Regional Park on Sunday 9 September. U10s from 8.30am, U13s from 9am. Rego from 8am to 8.50am. Main race at 9.30am. See www.wsmtb.com for details.
All welcome. No need to have raced in the series before. The track at Yellomundee was just great for our previous Round on 26 August, so come out and enjoy a friendly Spring race.

If you love to add some hiking to your biking, amongst Australia’s most spectacular wilderness, then do not go past this tour. The fresh, cool environments of both Cradle Mountain and the southern region of the Tarkine play host to our fully guided adventure activities.
Overnight lodgings include the Cradle Mountain Chateau and Corinna in the Tarkine, where we take a cruise along the Pieman River.
Travel with your bike or hire one of ours.

Usual social ride, into Euroka, up Bennetts and down the single track, except for those wacky tandem riders, who take the easier option down he fire trail.
