After Jono has whet all our appetites with his photos, hawkeye jnr has issued an edict that we MUST ride this place this weekend.
Says I: "Sounds good to me "
Usual disclaimers apply: know your abilities and ride within your limits, as only YOU have control of them.
Other than that, the only rule is: have fun!
Happy to shift the time +/- half an hour if the demand is there to suit peoples' schedules.

Ingar + Andersons + Oaks
Glenbrook station carpark.
This will be my last hit out before the Bottlebutt the following weekend. I will be catching the 8:23am train from Glenbrook and arriving at Woodford at 8:53am. From there my plan is to head down to Bedford Creek, up Ingar, then down Andersons back to the top of the Oaks, stop for water and then down the the Oaks back to the car. It's 77km with about 1500m climbing and 1800m descending so on average it's down hill . I'm thinking this would be around 4 hours once heading off from Woodford.
There's 3 Hot Laps Challenges in this ride so lets see how we go

The Golden Ticket to Ride, ride - All aboard the GNR train!
Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.
A brisk, fun, social-paced jaunt over Womerah and the GNR for a bit of mid week fun away from work, wife and kids.
Extra's After El Presidente
In front of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hornsby. This is just up the highway from pool.
After El Presidente I am gonna be doing some extra's, rolling out from Hornsby pool and going via Galston, Berowra, Brooklyn and Bobbo before heading home.
Come and join me after El Presidente if your keen.
Pace will be social in between the hills.
Ourimbah Social Ride
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
Do a steady 1st lap, having fun on the berms, drop offs, etc and then do a quicker 2nd lap if anyone is still keen.
This will only be my second time round this trail and I'm keen to learn all the singletrack goodness the place has to offer.
