Check list for hardware to take for my first 100km (Angry Dr.)
Now, first off, I'm aware I've picked a very, very bad race for my first 100km. I'm trying to do what I can to get myself conditioned for the race.
I'm turning my mind to making sure I've got sufficient supplies for the race. I'm preparing a check list and was hoping some of you kind people could comment on what I've missed off and what is over the top.
I understand this subject isn't as entertaining as a lot of websites out there (www.27bslash6.com/ being a good example), but if you could find time to comment, I'd be very grateful.

NEW BIKE....!!! IT'S ESSENTIAL
Got me a new rig to suit the wet conditions we have had lately, Note the Fox' Float' front fork...Dig it eh...?
Kinross State Forest
At a Glance
Kinross State Forest is one of NSW mountain bikings best kept secrets. The mountain biking trails include over 20km's of purpose built singletrack through lush pine forest and over varied terrain.
The area offers a large percentage of singletrack suited to riders of all abilities, with a good combination of easy flowing smooth sections teamed with some more technical short and sharp hills, fast descents and some fun surprises thrown in along the way.

painful pleasure
perfect weather to spend a day in the awsome bush of coffs ,I was entered in over 50's 100 km had a great ride with only 1 small crash but didn't loose much time, the last 25 k's were tough with a fair bit of granny action but I made it to the finish happy with my result

Social Sunday @ Yellomundee
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
I posted a ride at Ourimbah without checking if there was a race on there which there is, so I thought Yellomundee might be some fun, cause i have not ridden there for a year or so. Lets hope not much rain fall between now and the weekend.
I would like to get 3 laps in (not sure of the distance at the moment). It is social, but not for beginners.
I can offer a lift for one person from around Top Ryde, Homebush area.
Bring some snacks and drinks as we can have a quick pit stop at the cars each time round if need be.

Happy Nuts at the JetBlack12 Hr
This race nearly didn’t happen.... A couple of weeks ago Gazza got a job out in Central Australia, and had to pull out of our regular Mixed Nuts team. Martine wasn’t happy to come along on her own with us (I’m still not sure how that reflects on the rest of us.... ), so it was down to Ladytoast and me, as Steve01 wasn't available either.
