Rocky Trail MTB Grand Prix - Race 4, Del Rio Resort

Del Rio Resort is on Riverside Drive, Webbs Creek, NSW.
The 4th and final round will be held together with the JetBlack twenty four hours Sydney in Del Rio. 4 hour endurance race with preceding qualifying lap to determine the starting order.

Uriarra Road, just up from the Uriarra Road/Coppins Crossing Road turnoff.
The third race will be at Mt Stromlo on Canberra. Again 4 hours and a qualifying lap to determine the start order.

Pretty cool but could do with the following enhancements:
1. The same joystick needs to alter settings for both front and rear shock to the conditions chosen.
2. It needs linking to a GPS and to remember when you change settings on the first lap of a circuit. Then automatically change for you for the rest of the day.

AM riding: Avid Elixir 'v' Juicy 7
For an All Mountain bike with 185mm disc front and 160mm rear... would you rather use Juicy 7s or Elixir R? Has anyone ridden both on a similar bike to compare?
The point being, I was going to pick up some more 7s for another build but thanks to someone here will pick up some Elixir cheaper so now have a set of each and using the Elixir on my 575 becomes an option.
I'm really very happy with the 7s to be honest and think I'll keep them where they are. That is unless anyone has a good reason to try the Elixir on Mr Yeti?

stupid road ride
due to extreme peer pressure from un-named people (some of whom break bikes) I have entered the Sydney to Gong which I will ride on Mildred - none of that scum bike polava for me...
Anyway, you are supposed to ask peopel to sponsor you...

Here’s a gecko I came across last night on one of my laps of Manly Dam. I’ve seen pictures of these before but only ever seen the boring brown ones in real life.

woke up with a head ache and hung over
threw up before breakfast. yay me!
ate some brekky (not enough) and we got going.
train, easy.
arrived Wenty ready to ride, to find a late starting sleepyhead still getting bits out of his car.
made it the 2kms to Tableland Rd, had to stop for sugar (brekky deficient), nearly bailed. soldiered on.
got going, what a blast of fun that was down to the part where I got a flat tyre.

Ourimbah State Forest Romp - Cancelled
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
I'll be showing a mate around for his first ride at Ourimbah thought we'd make a day of it.
Social pace to start with some faster laps thown in, not looking at riding downhill on the day.
Just looking to get some good riding in beofre the 24hr and the Fat Tyre.
