Riley's Mountain Trail update for 05 May

Status:
Green/Open

I rode this track for the first time yesterday & other than some slight pooling of water just before the water bars it was in good nick! If you take the right option at the fork at the northern end of the ride the decline and water bars make for allot of fun! Don't be tempted to go past the gate at the end as there is barbed wire on the floor which looks like it has fallen down! It's a tough climb back up (traction is a little slippy ATM but will dry out) but worth it!
After going down the left option of the fork to the "Nepean Narrows Lookdown" lookout I was heading back & just as you start to go left I discovered a single track going straight which winds its way up the ridge line before a nice little bit of technical DH before coming out onto the fire trail, a nice little surprise.
All in all a decent 15km hit out with some great views along the way!

Central West NSW info needed- Kincross, Geurie (Bald Hill), Mudgee (The Common)

A bit of a 'me time' tour Sticking out tongue, so I'll be on my own and mostly during the week
So wondering if these trails are easy to find my way around

I don't have GPS or a great sense of direction
I believe Kincross is well sign posted
Not sure about the others

Any tips or info on these 3 (+ any others I may have missed) much appreciated
Also if there's any good arvo walk options between Orange, Dubbo, Mudgee

New to Sydney

Hi, just arrived in Sydney and looking for trails to ride and hopefully meet some people to ride with!

Currently in Manly but Ive got a van so can travel.

I know the weathers pants at the mo so theres not a great deal of riding to be had but Im always up for joining in inspecting/clearing trails or just going for a pedal along the cycle paths!

Im here on holiday so any day of the week works for me!

Cascades update for 03 May

Area:
Cascades
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Rode Cascades and Heath trail yesterday 2nd May.
Cascades ride to Davidson side was rideable, creek crossings were swollen but rideable.
Still have a few fallen trees across the trail, so be careful.

Warning Heath track creek crossings too swollen.
Bare Creek is too swollen to pass at :
* Lower Cambourne
* Quarry trail
* Bare Creek trail
Which means linking back to Cascades was too dangerous.
Also there are a few fallen trees across the trail at the bottom of Heath trail, blocking the whole track, you can walk under, around or through the trees, but be very careful!
