TONIGHT: Social Night Ride: Terrey Hills [Perimeter + Long Trail]
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Terrey Hills Tavern - Eastern Car park
Social night ride - Perimeter & Long trail [Everyone welcome - paced to accommodate newbies, too!]
Moderate pace...still recovering from the MTB overnighter...
...plus we can give an update on all the anecdotes from the fabulous Blue Mountains trip, the epic single tracks and funny campfire tales...(and plan the next one)
Naturally we'll have a cleansing ale at the Tavern afterwards (since we missed out on Bernd's homebrew!!!)
See you this eve...

1st time against the clock
I normally take it easy on the bits approaching level on this climb to get heart rate back to bearable however can't do that on a Hotlap. I got to the top gate before I expected to see it so can't have been pushing hard enough, I also did it on the 29er so I'm keen to do it on the race bike and I'm hoping for a sub 15 min.

Jenson
A big plus to Jenson when ordering online.
Put an order through yesterday morning, cleared bu Assie Customs by midday sunday, and expected delivery monday, that is if all is smooth, from the States to Sydney in 2 days straight, that's awesome.
Tien.
PS: i am not affilated with Jenson in anyway, but that goes to show cheap parts, super fast service.

Training Program
Hi,
I am looking at entering a 50km race in sept. I was wondering if anyone has a training program that I could look at? Any advice on number of rides per week needed, how many k's should be done etc. before the race to post a descent time? Looking at a combination of road and off road training.
Any advice is appreciated.

I thought a few of you might be interested in this.
I haven't had a chance to read it just yet so I have no idea if it is positive towards MTB or not
