Are we there yet?
Part of an Andos + Oaks run so not wanting to destroy the legs and spoil what's to come. Does that make up for the embarrassing 5 mins behind Supagav on this day? Hmmmmm...
Didn't dab anywhere along the way which felt like an achievement though!
Lap 2 here:

it must be just around the next bend
Pushed the lap button and 2 secs later was already in the lowest gear I have. I just had to keep going the bloody hill was not going to beat me today!!! Around the corner and then came the first of many switchbacks. I knew there were a few more to come so just kept grinding and wishing that there was another gear there. Finally the gate appeared. 13.32 with steve01 not far behind. That is one tough climb, reminds me of the Hills around Dunedin, NZ.

Andersons 2nd creek crossing to the gate
Man This is one hard hill climb!!!
Start at the 2nd Creek crossing and go for it until you reach the gate 2.5-ish Km of HARD work.

Great ride
thanks for a great ride. For those who had flats, the tire protection that we discuss has a brand name of Mr. Tuffy. here is a link to a random google result: http://www.bendigobicyclecentre.com.au/products....
See you on the next ride.

riding tours of mont blanc
Has anyone done a mtb tour of Mont-Blanc. I'm currently in Europe for a few months - lucky me - and I thought that I'd try my hand at what is supposed to be one of the great ride areas in the world. There seems to be heaps of company's offering rides and so I was after some advice on which to pick. I'm currently looking at a 3 countries 6 or 7 dayer which is run by a UK outfit - but ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated - before I take the plunge. After XC / Enduro not pure downhill as the lefty just won't handle it.
