Daddie's new babies
You wait months... then two new babies turn up at once ;-}
I have a magic new 2008 Heckler replacement frame, but I won't be riding it much soon due to the real baby that turned up last Sunday. Say hello to our little Phoebe Elizabeth Morrison, who has been making cycling motions with her little legs already, clever girl! Needless to say I am a very proud, if tired, Dad.
See you soon(ish..),
Matt.

My stupidity makes for your lucky day
Ok so I should have checked things before I go and order toys but I didn't and now one of you lucky buggers (or maybe beggers) is in for a bargain.
I am sitting here looking at a brand new, still in its box, hell still in its plastic bag in its box, Shimano XTR M970 top swing front derailleur (should have been a conventional swing, DOH)
Anyway its up for grabs at what it cost me and most of you know that will be a bargain.

A Very Red Hill Sunday - deck the halls with drops and roll downs! :)
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
A very Christmas ride, with only 2 days before Santa arrives!
Destinations to visit will include 4wd Follies, Mr MX, Garden of Gullies, etc.
This is a technical ride on a technical trail. New riders are more than welcome - it will add to the Christmas cheer! - but may struggle a bit. But don't let that put you off. Remember, we are all there to learn! But wear some of your guards if you have any.
Meet at the Reserve car park, off Lady Penrhyn Drive. See the google map link. I will be in the blue Mazda.
See ya there!

Red Hill on Sunday??
Hi all,
After surviving Ourimbah on Saturday, would anyone else be interested in some continued technical riding at Red Hill on Sunday? It would be for an early start, say about 8:00 a.m? I will post it if people are interested.
Love to hear some consensus here!!

Looking for some xmas gifts for my bike.
Looking for some xmas gifts for my bike. Bike is a Stumpy. Thinking seat post, stem and bars.
Thompson post for $130 on Torp 7 seems good, but not sure if I need a straight post or with a backsweep. I'm guessing straight, and 367mm long (or 330mm?)
Bars and stem is a cosmetic upgrade as I have no prob with current gear.
But need to know how long the stem is on the Stumpy as this seems a good length. Or could I go a little shorter?
For bars, anyone familiar with the TruVativ team carbon bars on Torp 7 for about $100? Does a degree change in the upsweep make much difference?

Epiphany
It was last Sunday afternoon as I set off for a lap of Cascades and the Showground sniggle. I nearly didn't go because it was drizzling.

Kona Dealers
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any Kona dealers in sydney. Not fussed on how good they are, just shopping around for a potential new bike purchase and will only buy the bike from them but get it serviced at my lbs (lbs doesnt sell Kona).
thanks all
