Wanted: 26" front wheel 20mm
Hi- I'm after a cheap 26" front wheel for a spare bike I am building up. Need 20mm thru axle fit so that I can fit my old forks.
Awaba State Forest update for 28 Dec
Rode the track yesterday arvo. Quite good condition overall. There are a few trees down, but the trail fairies have sorted it out.
As I live in the area, I can quite safely say that Sunday (today) produced very minimal rain here. The track is good to go.

Withdrawn: Free roadie tyres
Pair of Continental Ultra Sport 700x28c road tyres. Probably good for use on the trainer, but not on the road. Have been hanging in the shed for ages and need to be given away or binned. Slightly used with cracks in the rubber where the tread meets the sidewall. Cracks will be due to rubber starting to perish, but the tyre casing appears to be in good condition.
Ourimbah NYE
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
Up here on hols and trying to squeeze a few laps in, in between time with the family. Only ridden here once before by myself so happy to be shown around. I am sure I missed bits.....
North Turramurra update for 28 Dec
Rode through from Grosvenor Ave, via Jubes, to the Nth Turra sniggle and Marrua Track. A large dead tree down across the sniggle and the creek crossing in the sniggle is getting a little techy again after all the rain. Otherwise all good.

Jubes Mountain Bike Park update for 28 Dec
Looking a bit sad and unloved compared to OMV. Seems mainly used by kiddies. The uphill section of XC track looks like it is getting very rarely used. Pump area and skills area seem to be getting a bit of action.
Unfortunately it's not enough to be either a "ride to" or "drive to" XC riding destination. Just a diversion on a longer ride, for me anyway.

Old Man's Valley update for 28 Dec
In pretty good nick considering it looks like it's getting a hammering. Rode the "new" bits for the first time - very swoopy / flowy on the bottom section. The new section of ascent is very similar to the original section. All in all it makes for a great loop. Plenty of folks about today.

Lane Cove National Park update for 28 Dec
Rode through from De Burgh's bridge to near top of Devlins this morning. A bit of water about but better than it was a couple of weeks ago. Construction work on Yanco Rd firetrail is completed.
