My new-ish Jones non-suspended 29er
A few years ago I met a guy on the Oaks who was riding a Pugsly. I asked, "why that bike". He shrugged & replied, "why does anyone choose any bike". That left me flat, thinking there must be something more in his choice. So, here's my effort to explain my odd choice: I've been eying (read "lusting after") Jeff Jones' bike for years — http://jonesbikes.com/ . Jones designs mountain bikes with a focus on making "non-suspended" and great riding bikes. As a designer, what first attracted me to these machines was the years of careful, consistent and steadily developing design at work.

Condition: all in good working condition with recent bleed by excellent mechanic. A few scratches on levers.
Also I will throw in: Hope shifter mounts ("match maker") for Shimano XT shifters; Hope spare brake pads; and, Dot 5.1 brake fluid for bleeding.

Yup all good. LOTS of dried, hard horse hoof so not as flowy as it could be. But not really a big deal.

Womerah Range update for 01 Sep
All good, just be careful at the end of Jacks Track DH it's quite messy, boggy and big ruts which can easily catch you out at speed.

In preparation for a planned assault on the racing circuit next year, I picked up a brand new Giant Anthem X Advanced SL1 2011 (one of the most popular and successful Carbon XC Duallies you will find) a few weeks ago. I wasn't planning on riding it until Feb/March next year, so it has been covered up in storage and not touched at all. Unfortunately, with holiday plans, family health issues, etc, I think I have over-comitted and may need to off-load this lightweight race whippet before I even get a chance to sit on the saddle.
