Sunday "Lurkers" Ride
I have to work Saturday but am keen to go out Sunday – would prefer either early morning or late afternoon as it’s supposed to be warm...I am keen to go anywhere – except Cascades, even though hills are my friend (as is speed) I don’t fancy those ones...!!!

In case anyone didn't know, we're currently preparing the site for an upgrade to the latest version of the CMS. Watch out for 'funnies' in the coming week or so (or whenever this happens).
This is being done in part to give more functionality. I did notice during this process though, that personal Blogs are supported in the current version so have enabled them. I'm sure someone will find this useful if they've ever wanted to keep a MTB (or other I guess) journal. There should be a 'my blog' entry in the left navigation for you to view and make entries in. As this is a user's own personal thing, no moderation here!
We'll see how this goes, perhaps the moderators will take to promoting some of the more interesting stuff to the front page?

Jerrabomberra
This is the 16 km XC loop at Jerrabomberra. A ride that varies from fast and swoopy, to tight technical climbing to fun descents back and forward twisting across creeklines. The circuit is nearly all singletrack and has been created from the old CORC XC course of the late 90s, motocross meanderings and a lot of fresh linking track to make a truly exciting ride. The 16km will take about 90 minutes to complete, however a ride that also takes in Mt Jerrabomberra for a warm up and some of the adjoining singletrack can take up to 3hr to complete.

Thursday Night Ride
This Thursday night meet at Terry Hills, street beside Japanese school, park at the end under the lights, same as last time about 7ish.
If noone responds, Rob and I will probably change this to Cascades. Happy to do Cascades instead but if you want to do this with me then be prepared to hang around at the top of the hills, understand?

Trail Maintenance is Fun!
So it's 8:30 on a sunny, spring, Sunday morning and you'd usually be about to hit your favourite trail with a few mates. But what if the weather the last few weeks has been nothing but abismal? And what if your favourite trail is just a soggy bog and closed? Sure you could ride an alternate but, as I found out last weekend, there's options available to help maintain our friends the trails on days like this.

I ride heaps,Mostly XC (as im to old for this xtreme free ride stuff).
like doing the endurance races 8 12 24hr races,
