Victims of Demtel Hill

It's a tough, tough climb.

Huge Humps

Reverse angle - Riding some lush single track you'll come from this direction and head down a dip and up over the top of this hump. Three ways down this side which is pretty much vertical and around 3m high. Ye-haaaaa - love it!

Sweet Single Trail

Some of the many Km of sweet single trail around here.

Bottom of Valley

After the downhill action you should come out into this firetrail (reverse angle - this is looking back up the hill).

This spot also happens to be a junction between a few of the cross country trails.

Landing Zone

This trail is the landing zone from that jump we talked about here. Note the padding on tree, and the heavy damage on the one to it's right.

Ruts

Steep, slippery and rutted - very tricky stuff. Just right of camera there' s a log jump around a 1m high to launch off. Sadly (or maybe that's the point!) there's a tree right ahead of it though to catch even the best riders unaware (Arpit tells us he saw many riders crash here at the State Championships).

Check the landing zone here.

Roll Offs

Assessing the first tricky section. Just a whole load of roll offs down here. The pros would probably be jumping the lot mind!

Starting Gates

Some nice starting gates and stuff here. Don't know if they are permanent.
