For Sale: 2009 Pivot Mach4 frame + fork for sale
Heya All,
Well, it's come time to sell my beloved Mach4 Frame & Fork. This move back to the big smoke, with all the qualitiy gravity riding around, has meant that the bike is not getting very much use at all. Certainly not enough to have it collecting dust in the garage like it is currently. I would much prefer it under the stewardship of someone who's going to actually get some riding out of it, as I think it's getting a bit lonely down there, upside-down and not out on the trail!

Fastest Manly Dam's time
I am wondering if Manly Dam MTB trail ever saw a race.. and if the best time/rider are known..
No.. I am not into racing - it's just that having seen few fast riders - albeit mostly at the concluding smooth stage of the trail - I am very curious to find out how (poorly) my PB compares..

Farewell Manly Vale, hello Inner West - where to ride and commute?
Hey Guys
Well the sad day came yesterday when I moved from my lovely unit (only a stones throw away from The Dam) to the flat concrete jungle of the Inner West (Leichhardt). I can't be the only one on these forums so looking for any ideas on where I can get off-road and also a good longish (20km) commute loops to the city with some hills thrown in (my commute to Stanmore took all of 5 mins this morning).
Alternatively, if anyone has a trainer they want to get rid of let me know.
Thanks in advance

Disgusting

Advanced bike maintenance..
Hi guys,
Need to cut my hydraulic hoses and set the derailleur hanger straight (again). Both activities that require special tools if you want to do it properly.
Not keen on buying a hose cutter, because that's not likely to ever get used again. (about 80 on CRC)
Bleed kit and derailleur allignment tool might come in handy in the future but a bit pricey.
As I do like tinkering with the bike and figuring out how things work I was wondering if anyone was interested to get some 'communal tools' going.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 13 Jul

Ourimbah spin
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
After being off the bike a while it is time to try and get some fitness back. Three maybe four laps at a moderate pace. Haven't ridden Ourimbah for ages so looking forward to it.
