Camden River update for 06 Mar
Went here first time on Saturday. A local landowner has tried to close off access at the start of the track, and even felled some trees to block the track, but it is worth crossing over low to the river, (or over the second fence they put up bellow their original timber one) and you'll find the track again.
The track is brilliant, with little rest, narrow, technical, bridges, logs and shaded by forest. Locals have placed signs at key areas (thanks locals) created loop tracks so its not a single track anymore.
This is a beautiful ride, shh, don't tell too many as its better than Mt Annan and just down the road.

The bell tolls.
Here it comes - looks like I better get a bell for my mountain bike for when I am riding to a track. Taking this to the extreme, this could mean you will need a bell when riding on fire trails. I can see it now - 'bell inspection' officers at the bottom of The Oaks.
Mount Annan Botanic Garden update for 13 Feb
Saturday AM. Intermediate (1st loop) and Advanced (2nd loop) are OK but not at their best. Extended (3rd loop) is almost unrideable due to the metre high grass / weeds across the track in many places - the track is often barely discernible in the growth - it was not fun. There will be much more enjoyable places to ride until the mower man can get in there (perhaps he is there and is just lost in the grass!)
