Well this is the stumpy evo, thanks to all at bike minded for a massive effort in securing this rarest of beasts, also to Cillian, Simon, Aubry and Tristan for putting in a massive effort in building up such quality!

Chuck gave me a heads up about this, and just so we don't end up forgetting about it put it up here. I've put it in the calendar too. Big question will be just how much will it cost?!?!?

Just wondering if the fire trail out behind the dam at the end of glossip road was accessible, legal and rideable?

Easy Sunday Morning @ GHS (slow pace)

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
When:
Sunday, 17 October, 2010 - 09:00
Ride Database Entry:
Winmalee
Meeting Point:

End of White Cross Rd, Winmalee, NSW. There's a small parking area here but it's a standard suburban street so overflow isn't a problem.

I have yet to ride the sniggle+springwood ridge but I'm getting the impression its a little tough. But anyway, I dont imagine it being worse than climbing up bees nest hill.

Plan on riding a figure 8 (Shaws Ridge, Blue Gum swamp, sniggle, springwood ridge, look out, down bees nest hill, BlueGum Swamp)

I have also invited some beginner friends. So pace for this ride will be slow.

Thought I would post it if anyone else would like to join in.

Could not believe it. "Ando" Andy, the guy who lives less than 5 minutes from the meeting point, bailing out before his dainty foot even touched his bedroom floor. Drizzling, he called it. A bit icky. And to think that some of those Sydney blokes got up at 5am for this one.

But it's early, he says. It's raining. And I've never liked that ride anyway.

Bloody cream-puff.

Turns out he wasn't the only one.

Newby to the Oaks Matt tags along with the BMORC riders. And like many first timers to the Oaks, Matt punchered on the Single track. 35-40 psi if running tubes for the single track next time Matt. Giles and Jim assisting.
