What's The Point Of Presta
Seriously, why do we have to put up with presta valves on MTB rims? My new rims came with presta valves and I was reluctant to drill brand new rims out to fit schraders. So I got adapters to use the air at the servo and my home air compressor inflater. What a fricken pita!
Twelve months on and warranty cares now zero, I carefully drilled them out to fit some nice new schrader valves. Life is much happier. Using the valve caps that have the core removal tool built-in lets me add stans anytime.

Mogo State Forest update for 19 Dec
Maulbrooks Trails
All trails in the loop are open. Snake Track is in the best condition, well maintained and seriously sweet run.
Remainder of the trails have a pretty heavy leaf litter load at the moment & look less used but all still rideable. Only issue was some acacias hung up at head height on the end on She-oak Track. Passable on foot.
Deep Creek Dam Trails
All trails are open & running well. The loop of trails around the dam are in the best condition. Jackhammer also cracking good fun. Locals have done some work to upgrade crossings & bypass trail sections that would be under water when river is in flow beyond Jackhammer - still needs bedding in but ridable.

Was in there yesterday and trails were very dusty. A bit of rain overnight has settled them down nicely and they are good to go.
