Damaged mah Widgit :(

Bought a 32t Widgit a month or 2 back, and after examining it closely after things were running a little rough on Friday's ride, its all munted Sad

Its obviously seen some light damage to the guard, but not only are both sides of the guard 'tweaked' a little, but the chainring is too! Even my stock 42t shimano chainring with no protection has survived the same riding wonderfully for far longer.

Maybe it's my massive power that breaks frames and bends chainrings, but it just seems really odd that chainring is bent MORE than the guards?
Is it worth contacting Widgit?

Hr long Cape to Cape doco available for download

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

The makers of last years Cape to Cape MTB doco have made it available free to download the full length doco (not the cut down version shown on SBS).

Options include a variety of picture quality up to the 3GB high definition version.

I would recommend the next one down which is only 800mb.

Simply grab a beer and go to
http://vimeo.com/46177603

and enter the password: ZUBINI DOCO

If that is too hard, I've burn a handfull of the doco onto DVDs. If you see me taking snaps at the Cape to Cape I'll have a couple in my camera bag.

Garmin 800 compatible with the 500 bits?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Just checking - I've trashed my Garmin 500 in the last bingle. Thinking of replacing it with an 800. Can anyone tell me if the heart rate strap and speed/cadence sensor from the 500 work with the 800? I'm 99% sure they do but would like confirmation.

Thanks.

i was looking at road bikes but i am open to suggestions including brands, models etc

4,500.00

For Sale: Yeti SB-66a 2012 Large black
Build: Shimano XT 1x10, Front shock Fox Talas 32

Seatpost: Rock Shox Reverb
Stem: Thompson elite 70mm

Bike is in excellent condition, had frame skins since new. i bought it off the boys at Wembley cycles earlier in the year. Great bike.
The only reason i am selling as it does not get much use as i have been concentrating on the XC and enduro training and racing. Needs to go to someone that can really take advantage of it and use it to it's full potential as it is one awesome bike

Mavic 2012 Crossmax ST hub 15 mm front axle spacers wanted

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hi

I have lost one of my Mavic 15 mm front spacers - a result of having to take my front wheel off every time I transport my bike on the back of the car (otherwise the exhaust 'bubbles' the UST tyre Sad ).

Anyways, does anyone have a set of 2012 15mm spacers lying around that they might sell me?

Regards

Richard

I'm just getting into mtbing and went for a ride up at Kalamunda the other week and loved it. I used a friends Giant xtc and found that I felt to far forward on the bike especially going downhill. I have come to the conclusion that I want a good alround bike that is going to be good on the trails but will also allow me to do a little XC if I need to.

Pretty close to ordering new fork and shock, as per previous posts.

One thing Id like to get some more advice on is rear shock size for 2012 Trance adv 1
Currently the factory shock is a Fox 7.250 x 1.750 XV (high volume)
The 'boost valve' model i want only comes in 7.5 x 2.0 (both high and std volume)
