Beat Invisible Glaucoma!

Glaucoma affects more than 300,000 Australians, and is the world's leading cause of irreversible blindness.

Come out for a ride and brekky at OMV to support Glaucoma Australia, and Beat Invisible Glaucoma.

Bring the whole family! We'll be there from 7-11am with the BBQ going, so come for a ride, have a snag and support a great cause.

A big thanks to SNORC and Primo Small Goods / Joe's Meat Market for their support.

Ourimbah NYE

When:
Wednesday, 31 December, 2014 - 08:00
Ride Database Entry:
Ourimbah State Forest
Meeting Point:

Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.

Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.

Up here on hols and trying to squeeze a few laps in, in between time with the family. Only ridden here once before by myself so happy to be shown around. I am sure I missed bits.....

GNR 90km loop

Friday, 9 January, 2015 - 08:00
Ride Database Entry:
Great Northern Road
Meeting Point:

Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.

-33.38142,150.989066 (Park by the Ferry)

I'm going to do a loop starting and finishing at Wisemans Ferry.

It follows the GNR until Mogo campsite then loops back on unsealed roads. Time permitting, we could call in for a meal and beer at St Albans pub.

Here's the route I'm going to follow:-

Start time is flexible but don't really want to start much later. Earlier would be fine though.

Thanks to Gareth for the strava link. Laughing out loud

Sorry for the late notice, but think I'm going to try my hand at this MTB lark tomorrow morning Eye-wink

Click the "I'm in" link or I won't know you're coming. If there's no interest shown will probably still be there but might not be punctual. Look for the guy in a Silver Jazz with a Yeti 575.

Hope to do something like one of these (30-40km/2-3 hours), but up for debate:
