Uriarra Road, just up from the Uriarra Road/Coppins Crossing Road turnoff.
After not quite adequate training for the Scott in just over two weeks time , i should get to know the trail , and have a little fun around this great place . If you would like to join me , you are welcome to come along . My plan is to ride a couple of numbered laps , stop for a bite another lap and by then the need for lights will be needed for the last slowdown lap from the pavillion to the Observatory and down via the sensational Berm Track , although it may be called the a different name .
If i have any legs on the day i will have a go at The heartbreaker climb

Mate, rug up - the forecast is pretty rancid for Canberra tomorrow nite.
Can't make it this as too early-although it's only 10k's ride on dirt for me to Stromlo now I've only done the route once in daylight so not confident about a night effort yet, and we only get decent wheels this coming weekend so can't drive the bike there. Once I've got the car/if I build up enough flex time I'll join you on one of your apres-work romps. Hopefully next time. Things are slowly coming together in Canberra, although I'm not sure how I'll pull up on the 19km laps for the Scott as I only got my bike back from 10 weeks in the shop (long story) last week.
It was great around Sparrow Hill tonight for two hours ( on the possible Mont 2010 course ..
....) before the rain which is due to hit tonight and blow my very popular Stromlo ride out ....
If the weather is ok and you can muster the courage to ride the 10 dirt k's tomorrow give us a call and you can see how much pain you are likley to be in come the Scott . ......... or you can just come on a ride when daylight savings starts next month either way torrential rain aside , i will be there for a while !!!! Get in quick , there are only five spots left ...
