This doesn't look to be on any known park or reserve. Is it private land, or council or plain old crown land?
As you can't see the trail on satellite I'm assuming it's single track. Is it technical or not? And is there anything else worth visiting/linking with this, or is that it?
single track all the way to a barbed wire fence where it then becomes firetrail to menangle (where i turned around on the recording was about 20m after that fence) ... it's so close to the river edge it might be crown land ... for example there is a 10m section of trail where if you fell, you would fall down a 2m sheer edge into the river [bed] and, i don't remember crossing any other fences ...
someone has gone through the single trail with orange paint strips in all the right places including a bit of tree sticking out of the ground that could impale you if you fell on it ... as for technical, i found it easier than appin but my friends found it harder although where it got really difficult (e.g. three orange strips on the trees just before a steep down hill bit and over a narrow bridge) i hopped off and walked ...
on the way back there was one bit where you climb a steep hill and if you have a bit of speed and if you don't remember from your trip in to turn a sharp left at the peak you will end up over a sheer edge and into the river ... aside from that it was all good ...
i wouldn't go there just for it's own sake but would definately recommend it combined with appin (which by the way had a secret single trail off to the left where one of the white arrows pointed you off in another direction - unfortunately i left my gps in the car for this one) ...
This is the first mtb track I ever rode way back in the early 90s and I'm planning to ride it with a few mates in 2 weeks. That bridge is a shocker. There's a couple of other rides out there around Mount Annan and a challenging road ride up Old Razorback Road. Camden is my hometown so it's always fun to get back there for a ride.
i could read the orange paint, but could never have written it ... i found every marking perfect ... not too much not too little ...
someone around there really knows their stuff ...
thank you
cheers

grew up in Camden literally at the top of the hill from the start of that track...
As far as I am aware, it is crown land being so close to the Nepean River.. Who cares, as a kid we just rode down and played in the bush back before we ad to worry if it was legal to ride my pushie in the bush down the road... aaaaah those were the days...
