Night riding in Lane Cove
Is there any issues with doing a night ride in Lane Cove National Park?

Not if you go first:
I do it all the time. LCNP trails take a bit of practice learning how to join them all together, but once done are actually very good. Let me know if you need a tour guide
Great, when are we riding then Greg?
Getting a good line down there now.
Watch out for the busted causeway.
Greg can i come as well? Would be good to ride with some new people.
depending on timing I would love a tour of LCNP - my own explorations there seem to be a there and back, be good to link it up.
I'd be keen to do a tour of the main trails and not so well known parts of LCNP. There's many kms of varied terrain here.
Thanks. I have riden there a bit in the past so am OK with the trails. Just wanted to be sure there were no issues with NPWS rangers.
The only thing you need to be wary of is you can't ride walking trails (single track) within the national park. Basically any single track to the west of Browns Waterhole (Pennant Hills side) is banned while most single track to the east is actually council land so is ok. There is one trail though which is clearly marked as not to be ridden.
I've never seen a ranger at night
Not sure what you mean by west (upstream?) and east (downstream?), but nearly all the sniggle in LCNP is verboten for mtb's AFAIK. The only legal bits are the upper sections of Devlin's Ck track and the Terry's Ck track upstream from the M2. The GNW bits (except for the mainly "hike-a-bike" bit from the fire trail near De Burgh's bridge through to Gloucester Ave), Busaco Rd track, any sniggle coming out of Pennant Hills Park are all no go. If there are other tracks in there that are definitely legal, I'd be interested to know?
