Night ride tonight

Hey all,

A friend of mine and I were planning to do a night ride of Manly Dam (2 laps) tonight, but since the trail is still closed we're looking for other options. Both of us have ridden the Dam a lot, but haven't really been anywhere else.

Anyone interested in joining us for a ride tonight at about 7pm or so, for about 2 hours? Hopefully someone who knows the area reasonably well and can show us around! Anywhere on the Northern Beaches should be fine.

Cheers,
Greg

Give Terrey Hills Perimeter & Long Trails a try. Although this is firetrail it's pretty nice at night and if you've never been there should be entertaining enough. Especially since you can start/finish at the Terrey Hills Tavern Eye-wink

Part way along the Long Trail you'll find a gate which is Cowan Trail - this is a bit rough and rocky and worth a look if you want some technical challenges - it's like a (very) mini GNR Eye-wink

Oh, after a lot of rain many people start at Echunga Road (look for the Japanese School and turn there) as the stuff behind the houses on Booralie Rd can take a while to dry out.

Hi Greg

I'll show you around the Perimeter/Long trail tonight. Meet you guys at 7 pm at the roundabout at the Japanese school.

Perimeter is not technical, but a good trail to ride at night. I'm in a white Pathfinder 4WD, and currently ride a SS 29'er steel hardtail (still waiting for parts for my next 29' FS project).

See you there. My contact nr is in my profile.

Rgds, Hans

Hans,

Alberto here! I'll be coming with greg - he's out and may not see this but i've taken your number down and we shall be there at 7 to 7:15pm.

Thanks for the offer.

Maybe we can throw in the Cowan section as well . . . . . . . ?

Anyway, see you tonight.

Alberto
