On display at Sea Otter last weekend apparently: Hydraulic shifting for mountain bikes:

175g grams lighter than either XTR or XX, and requires much less thumb pressure to shift gears than against stiff springs like in cable-operated systems.

If this interests you, just make sure you're sitting down when you hear the price tag. Eye-wink

Pirtek's or Hoselink's phone no. on speed dial if you blow a hose?-it's O.K just kidding,great idea just need the big 2(Shimano & SRAM) to have a crack at this to perfect it.Shimano years ago had an air actuated rear system for DH never really took off though.
