GEORGE W BUSH Showground and Cascades
Well if you did not know already George went and dropped in at St Ives show ground for a quick ride of the local tracks. If you did not know GW is a very keen mtb rider and does plenty of it back in the US. As much as we hate him it was good to see him out trying some of our local stuff.
Hope all is well
Gavin

I assume a US paper
"The fit-looking Mr Bush is a keen mountain biker, and likes to get around his Texas ranch on two wheels.
But sometimes things don't always go to plan.
Escapades reported by the US press include an over-the-handlebars crash at his ranch and a wet-pavement wipeout in Scotland that injured a pedestrian policeman."
See his just like the rest of us, well ok maybe not.
And just in case you didn't see it http://au.news.yahoo.com/video/local/nsw/index.html
Does look more like the HART driving school than the show ground. Still, all the BUSH and he spends most of the time on the bitumen, maybe that was just another on of our growing NobMob aliases

Yes, it is the tiny slice of bushland opposite the show ground. Mind you, perhaps they closed MV road so he could cross, the trails behind said show ground are not bad.
damn are trails are now infected!- shame someone didnt take him down lizard rock lol
was he on? not a "Hande Made in USA" Lefty!!!!!!!
Bernd
*oops*
Pint of golden for who can pick what bike he's riding...
I think you'll find Dubya rides a Trek, just like his riding buddy Lance.
he is from outa space so I'm guessing he would be on the "Star" model Trek
how big was the bicycle motorcade that followed him?
I am sure he was on the site to get details for the ride....but no post or review, cmon?
Bar that IP address.
We have hits from a few US .gov sites, but not whitehouse.gov. I doubt Dubya would have the sense to Google northern beaches mountain bike trails.
We've loads of hits from defense.gov.au - perhaps it was them looking on his behalf
