Douglas Street, St Ives, NSW
Details:

I'm going to be a bit lazy this weekend and skip the long drive out to Lithgow on Saturday. So anyone else feeling the same might like to join me closer to home Sunday morning.

I'm thinking one of the following rides: Dural (xc course), Cascades (St Ives), Ingleside (kind of downhill...anyone want to do shuttles?...that would be awesome), Manly Dam, or Ourimbah xc. Sorry to be vague re location at this stage but the reason being is that I'm open to opinion. I will be doing one of them - I'll put up a final post by late Friday.

I like to ride reasonably quick to keep the intensity up; single track chutes are the goods and rock gardens are the not so good since I ride a hard-tail.

Hope you can make it!

Alright...let's do it then Olaf (and anyone else that decides to join us). Cascades. Meet somewhere along Douglas Street, St Ives. You won't miss me; I'll be pedalling around. Sound good?

Hi,

I've not done cascades before, i normally get to manly dam 1 or 2 times a week. Are you guys happy to have a noobie or 2 along for the ride?

Absolutely! If you think the moderate-quick pace will suit you, I'm pleased to see more interest.

Guys,

stuffed up my wrist DH riding yesterday. Won't be able to get back on the bike today. Looks like a great day for the Cascades.

Cheers
Olaf

Burning legs on the long slog out of the valley - but all worth it for the downhill section.
Now.......
GO THE SEA EAGLES!!!!!!!!

Really enjoyed the cascades for my first time! Big thanks to Neil and Peter (and bruno) for showing us the way to go, and for being patient and waiting while we struggled up those hills!

It seems the Cascades ride on Sunday went down in more than one part! Drobec6 and I had a great two laps but it was just the two of us! I'm amazed that there was another nobmob group going around. I wish we'd waited longer on Douglas Street now but I was only expecting drobec6 to be coming (and I don't think we left before 930). Anyway, see more of you next time.
