BMORC Bash
Glenbrook station carpark.
After being reminded about this on the Wednesday night ride, it's time to put it up for next year to give you all a chance to drag out your secret weapons.
Guidelines are:
1) Bike not to be worth more than $200 new or needs to be over ten years old.
2) No disc brakes.
3) You have to carry it out with you even if it is stuffed.
4) All stacks are your own fault for riding such a heap of S*&t
5) No clipless pedals (unless the bike came with them originally)
6) Must be prepared to have an embarrassing photo taken.
7) Anything else I have missed here....................
Of course these are only guidelines and are pretty flexible. Just don't turn up on your full carbon MTB unless you want to be sweep!
Jump on whatever's steaming out of Glenbrook at 8:23
Meet back at Glenbrook for some new seatpost bolts and a gentlemans operation or two.
Were you there and have a story to tell?

So besides myself, who else has washed thier bash and who hasnt?
Nope. No washing here. Maybe one day.
Howdy guys. Congratulations on what you've shown was DEFINITELY a good day out. And the comments show the fun certainly hasn't ended there.
I'll be scrounging the hard garb collections for something for next year's! (How I'll explain THAT one to the wife I have NO idea! )
On Sunday I did the Lithgow triathlon on mine, it rained during the event so it's clean enough now.
Thankfully I didn't get any more flats. The last repair at the causway held.
..I am done with that....
the council clean up can't come quick enough....
If i want to ride a shopping trolley or jump on a jack hammer....its not that hard!
it was a great day out...soaking up some sun....now its raining again....
You were great value Shano.
I washed my bike at the causeway and then not long after I got home on Saturday. It's back into service now as my town bike. Lots of trips to Knapsack Park this time of year for soccer, with the added bonus of hitting up Knapsack single track for a ride on the way home. Which happened yesterday just before the rain.
Mine went straight into the shed, wasnt dirty at all, must due to the fact I was flying down the S/T, no time for any dirt to stick.
The only thing holding mine together is the dirt. If I hosed it down, little pieces of bearings would fall out of the headset and bottom bracket.
for things like: - Oldest bike
- Heaviest bike
- Most mechanicals
- Least reliable brakes
- and of course the cheapest bike!
Prize for least reliable brakes ...? Have to wonder though ... would the winner be in a state to collect?
I had jammed my foot onto the front wheel last year. Was glad they needed to be replaced for this year.
That's it Chuck. As long as a Volley can reach the rear tyre, there will always be brakes.
Maximum points for anyone who turns up with one of these!

Love it where do I get one.
Yess!!!! Comes with 15 custom stickers and 3 different sounds. The perfect addition for a BASH bike.
$22.99 from USA, I'm getting one for the Muni.
I can see this as a very annoying aftermarket modification for the Woody Worlds!!!!!
playing cards and a soup can cheaper.
Wes but this comes with really cool, make your bike go faster stickers!!!!
