If you're like me your probably getting sick of telling NPWS the same thing over and over again. But they are reviewing the plan of management for berowra valley and are specifically asking questions about mountain biking at stringy bark ridge (aka the old pony club) in pennant hills.

The survey is linked below and i get the impression that some more MTB responses would be good.

So take the couple minutes to fill it out and use the comment fields to tell them what you really think/ vent you frustrations/ provide valuable insights with the knowledge that some poor public servant will be forced to read everything you write and try to classify your concerns into a set of hopelessly overgeneralised categories. The more consistent the comments the harder it is to ignore as the 'support mountain biking' and 'more recreation favilities' categories will stick out like the dogs proverbials.

Then again, if you just want to make someone's life difficult raise a lot of unique and specific issues so they have to keep recategorising 'other concerns' so its not the biggest category when they present it to their boss.

Hopefully unlike the lane cove POM review from a few years back (where 90%of the people at the consultation meeting were mountain bikers but it wasn't even noted as an issue in the revised POM published last year) NPWS wont quietly cut us out of the process this time round.

Anyone living in the Hornsby LGA should get on and complete. Others outside that area it would be great if you could chime in as well. Another OMV at this location would be another win for Sydney mountain bikers. Easily accessible from Pennant Hills railway station as well
