Loz and I will be starting from the St Ives end at a later time. Probably will bump into all of you on the trail somewhere. Wish I could get home so early!

If I can get back from the airport in time. I'm in. Don't wait for me if I'm not there. Cheers,

Is this ride open to any level rider? Keen to come and check out the track, just don't want to hold people up if it is super technical?

If it is ok, then i would love to join in.

Thaks

Rob's picture

Nah, we're not riding the technical stuff so come along for some fun on the hills. Smiling

lozza6's picture

Yeap, will be starting later and from the Acron side. Maybe see you down there

InC's picture

Do you meet at the normal place stated on this site?

thansk

Rob's picture

Nope, meeting spot for this ride 'non-standard': Corner of Elm & Ralston Ave, Belrose. It's one street over from the designated Cascades meet.

Thanks mate. See you tomorrow.

Sorry guys, but I may not be able to make it now.
Had our garage broken into last night, Brand new moto stolen, car tried to be stolen and main buzzer to get in and out of garage taken. I am trying to see if I can borrow a buzzer off someone however not proving too good at this stage. Will update if I am successful.
Thanks
Ben

Sorry to hear Ben Sad

Some real scum out there....

At least the Stumpy wasn't nicked right?

Loz

InC's picture

Yeah pretty lucky. Had that and a nice principia sitting there not locked (Get too complacent at times) and not touched.

Not sure what the they were trying to do. Pretty much just made a mess of the place.

Stumpy now sitting on the balcony just in case they have another run! Might try and creep it into the b/room! Smiling

Thanks lozza. Might see you this arv, however if not, next week for sure!

1h19 moving time, including the sniggle, that's not bad:

http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/episode/view....

Shame about meeting horses and 2 flats Sad

Look at the discrepancy in the altitude too... silly Edge, what is it thinking!?

The Quarry time of 5m14 is 1 second slower than last time I went for the hot lap, one needs to be warmer first me thinks.

Andy Bloot's picture

Those climbs are relentless. Had I known what hell was in store, I would have given the gym a miss last night.
After the 4th gate I couldn't tell if it was tears or sweat running down my face and I didn't care.
Was a good ride though gents.

Brian's picture

It was a good ride. My next goal is to crack 6 minutes for the quarry climb. It did really stuff me doing this first.

Andy Bloot's picture

My goal would be to do the whole thing without getting off the bike.
I really dislike walking up hills.
I tell ya, I think I'm bike fit until I go out with you blokes. I get a reality slap.
Need to work on technique and leg and cardio strength.
It's all good though, and I feel good this morning.
Different story on that last hill last night - I had nothing left!

Rob's picture

Don't worry Andy, that's how I feel when I ride with Junkie, and see Dr Eggs and the Spoonboy at races! Eye-wink
