Yellowmundee ride

Last friday I took my son and a friend out to Yellowmundee Regional Park for a ride. I had looked at in Google Earth and it looked interesting. We all had a really great time. It is strictly 10km xc (80% single track/20%firetrail)circuit with a couple of technical drops into creek crossings and some zig-zag descent downhill. If anyone would like to try it out I am keen to go again. Also a beautiful drive out through Richmond returning through Spingwood. Good ride of beginners who want to test a number of there skills and get fitter.

I would be interested. Sounds cool, but not this weekend.

There is also a cool ride up at Winmalee that I want to take people to as well, which is also only a 15 minute drive away. I will see if we can fit that in too sometime.

I'll be interested in the YM and Winmalee tracks, too...

My 11 year old son enjoyed the YM track as well.

BTW - Liam - your stuff from T7 has arrived. See my PM.

A little while ago Nobmob had a chicks only ride.

Take in the early morning mist at Yellowmundee, relax Liam its there till after 9 some mornings. Refuel the bods at Springwood bakery. Then back down the hill for an arvo of paintball at Ultimate Skirmish on Springwood Rd.

Relax girls you can come too

I'd be keen to find out where the Winmalee track(s) are as I pop up there every now and again to see mates, can you post details/directions?

Matt

I live in Winmalee and happy to show people our local trails. Not this weekend due to the dirtworks but any weekend after that should be fine.
