Anyone ridden GNW from Heatons lookout to Olney lookout?

Just wondering if this area is rideable and not a total hike a bike?
Cheers

I've ridden to both lookouts but never had the motivation to link them up - looks pretty open path from both ends. If I was choosing I'd ride from the olney end , coz that is horrible from the cutting upto Heaton. Or start at freemans waterhole , go up the firetrails to the ridge, across the rd and up the stairs to Heaton LO, then once at olney, look for single track on the left which eventually joins the old amazon downhill trail all the way to the bottom, then back to freemans waterhole for a pie and coffee!
I've ridden from Heaton's LO down Amazon before however not on the "at olney, look for single track on the left".
Can you please provide me with a strava segment or GPS file of that singletrack?
Muchly appreciated, cheers

That's the amazon trail you want to go down, obviously the segment is an impossible climb, it'd take ages to try and find the ride, so I've taken a screen capture of my heatmap in that area which shows it ok - PM me your email address, I can't figure out how to post a picture on this site. All that matters is that you don't go past the entrance to amazon. Turning left onto becks rd is quite an interesting fireroad but probably an hour to freemans waterhole (it's fairly up and down)
And just to help a little more, I just found a group ride who went that way on strava, and it took them 1 hour to get from the gap up and over and down to mt Faulk rd in an hour - so it's obviously rideable apart from the first bit up the stairs

Amazon trail?
More info please! I thought I knew all the tracks around here...
How wrong I was.
