He gets my vote for that alone.
But Mr Groover is the the expert on all things CG.
Hey CG. Craig Gordan - Carl Groover.
Co-incidence?
so i voted twice (just created two users).
another one for gordo
OK, he's right up there on my list of MTBer's to admire, most notably for his win in the World solo 24hr champs he took the title from Chris Eatough(USA) who had won it for the previous 6 years. Luckily there was a full film crew there to film him win it for the 7th time but they forgot to tell Craig Gordon from the Blue Mountains the script.
They both went through hell at the pace Gordo set and he spent a couple of days in hospital afterwards on dialysis but as he said "I didn't come all this way just to wear tread off my tyres" The movie 24 solo gets a regular watching in this house and always gees me up for some more 24 hr training. The initials C.G. in Carlgroover is just a happy coincidence.
John.
We is mates!
me too
Go the wee man.

Done.
I was once overtaken by Craig Gordon, at Coffs, whilst on my way to finishing my 50km race. I was very disturbed to later learn he was the current 24hr world XC champion, and was just finishing his 100km. The thoroughly disturbing reaslisation was he commenced his 100km race about 30 minutes before I set off on my 50km. That is speed to burn. The guy is not human. An appropriate monicker like Flash Gordon would not be out of place.
Needless to say, you now know who I voted for.
Wow Liam, you must subscribe to some 'interesting' websites to have that info...
Good on you!
Gordo is recovering from a serious crash - a car hit him head on and pretty much tore his shoulder to bits. It required a massive reconstruction and kept him off the bike for nearly a year, with his arm and shoulder trussed up in a sling for a lot of that time.
It is really good to see him back into competition!
One thing I really like about gordo (apart from hime being a legend) is he is happy to talk about riding, setup, and shoot the breeze with mere mortals (like me!).
