Trail closures
this is a bit from Supreme Cycles website:
MTB Track Closures
The NPWS have closed prominent local MTB trail locations including
-Slippery Dip Trail (oxford Falls)
-Little Moab (Oxford Falls)
-Bah Hi Temple Trail (Mona Vale)
-All Single Track in the Cascades
-Moon Rock (Oxford Falls)
-Bantry Bay side of Manly Dam
-Heath Track
-Two Creeks Trail
I would Heed what the signs say as NPWS Rangers have said they will be increasing their patrols of these closed tracks & will be issuing on the spot $300 fines if you are caught on the track. To anyone thinking of pulling down or damaging the signs, DON'T this stupid and will get MTB ing nowhere and will give MTB er's a bad name.
Maybe its about time that all riders of all descriptions get active and contact your local members to get some dialogue happening on achieving some fair and equitable useage that embraces all of the population.
What the fruit!!! Heath track and the single track (i assume the little loop near the the substation) are closed! this is nuts!

The advice to write to your local member is a good one though - please take your frustration out on them and not the signs or local rangers that you meet.
I belong to a trail advocacy group in Colorado who addresses these kind of issues. Does "Bicycle NSW" or some other group deal with these issues? I'd volunteer to start an organization, but I'm just here for a couple more years and.........
