Details:
fun training ride - i have some (2) "less" fit guys that we have to wait for at the top of hills but may make it that the faster guys go back and ride back up again.
Back at shops after a 17km lap we'll decide whether to add on another lap of Perimeter or add Duck hole & centre tracks. Would like a steady pace -no waiting - should get around in just over an hour.
Who's in?
sarina, tomboy, Slowpup

We had a really nice ride this morning - little bit of mud and Nick showed us why he's called "Slowpup" just because i asked. There was NO other reason for him to walk up the hills.
Tomboy is determined to turn him into "Fast-up".
I have to change the details on my profile -it seems the name Tomboy have me a few years ago is gonna stick. "Fatso". He's yelled it out so many times that no-one knows my real name or nickname.
we did the REAL perimetre track (we MAY have done some singletracks but we're never gonna admit it)and then after a coffee did Duckhole and Centre tracks hoping we may see some of the guys who WERE going to do it. What happened? A little bit of water put them all off? Then Tomboy MADE me drink another coffee.
We saw Tim (who was going to ride with us) scoffing down a chicko roll, a cheese and bacon roll and a chocolate milk to help ease a hangover. We now know, even though he exercises hard why he has the body of a.....chico roll? (lumpy and covered with fat?)
You are what you eat. Arrrgh that explains why I'm a Flat white.

Sure was a great
walkride, nothing like pushing up those hills in the mud. At least Sarina was nice enough to wait for me at the top.... of some.I'm most worried about Tom's film..... I'll be the pathetic wimp caught walking round the nicely banked corner. Though I did get captured passing Sarina up the long hill on Sandy Trail. Next time I'll have to remember the make-up and manicure, and spray on sweat.
Did a lap out to the lookout rock on Long Trail and back with two 10 year olds, a mate and his wife afterwards. Nearly got skittled by the ranger doing a fair clip near the turn off to Cowan trail. He was smiling, but using all the trail. It was amazing to see the marks made by one 4WD compared to the 10 or so bikes which went that way this morning.
