In this one you can see where the shell has broken at the tip of the saddle and exposed the green foam. |

I actually did the two smaller scabs on the bottom left/right at Manly Dam the day before. Where all the goo is coming out was kindof scratched in that accident but crashing at Yellomundee finished off the job.
There were plenty more scrapes down the arm and in places the I'm too shy to show.
GPS says was going over 40kays as I hit the deck, probably quiet lucky to escape with this - oops |

A collection of bikes spied at the end of Long Trail on Sunday arvo:
1 x flat bar road bike complete with slicks.
1 x BMX single speed for son one.
1 x huffy or similar (my memory has blanked out what this monstrosity was) for son two.
Point is - riding to the end of Terrey Hills is easy and given this equipment, clearly not mountain bike riding! Or rather, the most simple beginners type of MTB there is. |

Would this circuit work.
NOTE: the batteries are 9.6V 3300mAh
Jaycar driver takes minimum 12V
torch driver needs 6V - not sure if 9.6V will kill it? |

On the left... a nice and easy, 'remove it with 2 hex keys', ring bolt.
On the right... an annoying as all *%^#, 'you need a special tool or 3 hands and a screwdriver, plus lots of time and patience' ring bolt. This particular one is from an XT crankset ('08 vintage I believe). |

Coming down the last section of the Dam before the hydro lab and my front tyre washed out. Feels like I have burnt my arm as I slid down the board walk . I also took skin off my leg and have just noticed a decent egg sized lump forming on my knee.
Kev came off trying to avoid me and while I was sitting there (off the track) recovering another guy crashed at the top. I was contemplating wearing my arm pads but decided to leave them in the car. |

This is my new bike. It's steel. It's white. It's mine and I built it. Fairly happy with how it's turned out although as you can probably see I need to shorten the brakes hoses.
For no good reason (and against people's very sound advice) a lot of the components are British (like me). I'm particually fond of Hope at the moment as you can probably tell.
Anyway, comments n stuff would be much appreciated
Cheers

My new Titus Moto-Lite frame arrived just in time for the DW. Looking forward to riding it once the rain clears. |
