A short lap of Rydal

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Rydal is cool in that you can link segments together in a myriad of different ways to keep it all fresh

This week we did out Jive Turkey, then crossed over to link in Robbies Run. Up Snake tails. Hard right and into Hazard County. Hard left and back along the dump run.

I caught lap on the gopro using a gimbal mounted to chesty

Reigning from WA, Sam claimed the elusive title in his second race back from major shoulder surgery, proving he cannot be stopped. Sam has taken some time off the bike to get healed and prepare for his best effort yet at Newton’s Nation.

You'd be mad not to be there. and don't forget entries are open to anyone so come along and share the shuttle bus with Sam and others...

Dan has a little track on his property.

This one is shorter than the other 2 loops we'll be using but it's a tough little trail with some very fun bits
Track runs anti clockwise
Note!
This is private property and only open to ride on club days. Please respect the place and make sure we clean up after ourselves.

Tuesday 9/3/2010

OK here are the plots of our ride last night.
We got a little lost looking for the first section of Single Trail and had a bit of a bush walk. Glenn has since been banned from leading any ride ever again.... But it's all good and part of the adventure that is MTBing and besides it found us new bits to ride.

The Squiggles (I did a quick lap of this to map it, before we started the main ride)
