Appin it is
North end of Burke St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
Note that the map shows Market Street connecting Appin Rd to this location but that is actually a firetrail and will not work for drivers who should take King St (next block South) and enter from there.
Need a single track fix? well Appin is the place 2 to3 laps at a quickish pace short break at the end of each lap ,will stop to regroup If needed ,see you there. start time can be adjusted if people req
Blue Mountains Sunday Early Morning
Glenbrook station carpark.
Meet at Glenbrook and get the 6.53am train up to Wentworth Falls. Come back via Andersons and The Oaks firetrail. I am hoping it clears up a bit until Sunday, I don't intend to ride in the rain.
I have never done the Andersons, but have GPS .
I would appreciate feedback from some of the locals (Chuck, Username2?) whether we can or should ride the trails under the current weather conditions. I would assume that we should probably leave out The Oaks single trail and stay on the dirt road instead.
Cheers,
Volker

RIDE IS FOR 9AM SUNDAY - I CAN'T GET THE TIME SETTING CORRECTLY...
I'll be heading down to this track at 9am on Sunday and following this GPS route http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/2590961.
I haven't been on these tracks before so if anyone wants to join me to explore or show me around it would be great.
Awaba Laps
Just up Jenkins Road from corner with Mount Faulk Road.
I was planning on racing there Sunday but as the weather is looking increasingly dodgy for Saturday night/Sunday morning I'm going to do a few laps Saturday arvo.
The pace will be a consistent social pace although I might have a go at the hot lap challenge that was just set up
Mt York Jaunt
Top of Berghofers
Saturday morning ride. Probably head down Cox's then up Lockyers.

ANSTO/Rider Meeting (Re: Menai Closure)
ANSTO Cafe, at ANSTO, New Illawarra Road, Lucas Heights NSW 2234
[Mod. posted on Steve's behalf]
Having spent all day chasing the matter, Steve has managed to convince the ANSTO management to meet with Mountain Bike riders to discuss the use of Menai.
This is an outstanding achievement.
Correction: Sorry folks - this is not a public meeting. Please do not show up! Those who go will be sure to report back though.
Ando's + Oaks
Emu Plains Station carpark (two before Glenbrook to catch an extra downhill at the end and secure a place on the train before the Oaks mob boards at Glenbrook) to catch the 08:13 train up to Wentworth Falls.
To be rescheduling after the %%$^%#$ weather reports advised about the winds scheduled, and the tracks are probably covered with fallen trees.
The pace will be "brisk social" - This will mean a couple of stops will happen at the creeks and the helipad, though besides that I want us to be able to move along at a fairly rapid pace, so it'd be preferable to ride with people with a higher degree of fitness.
