Not enough interest
Thursday night social - Winmalee
Halcyon ave, next to the nursery
Chuck is out with a bad hamstring and we missed last week so i thought i would post up a ride as i still need the fitness.
For something different i thought it would be good to have another crack at Bees Nest in cooler weather.
Im thinking we start at the nursery, down past the grotto, up along shaws ridge. Up Bees nest. Optional lookout visit and return via springwood ridge.
Ive put the start time as 6:30pm hoping this will suit most. Pace will be social with the standard gas bagging.
Duck Holes, Centre, Perimeter + Long
Terrey Hills Tavern
Hi Wade, piggybacking on your ride from last week. Hope you don't mind .
Who can make it for tomorrow night?
Cheers,
Volker
Woodford Dam Social (Slow-Medium Pace)
Woodford Train Station South Side opposite GWH
Heading to the Dam tomorrow for anyone interested.
Current plan is to ride straight over and down to the Dam, then climb up to Hazelbrook from the Dam. This will be a challenge. Depending on time I may do some more exploring.
Current plan is not set in stone and is open to suggestion from anyone wishing to join me.
Manly Dam Social Lap
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.

Glenbrook Social Ride
Glenbrook Park. In the small car park opposite the shops.
Glenbrook to the Oaks(the middle gate) via Euroka Clearing and Bennetts Ridge firetrail, return on the Oaks single track.
All welcome!!
Quarry Rd
End of Quarry Rd before it turns to dirt
Out and back loop to get some hill training in. Will probably still be a bit wet but given how hilly it is it drains OK. Besides, I am over the weather and need to get out
Experimental: Great North Road Early Sunday morning ride.
Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.
Hi,
keen to do something different. I have never been on the GNR before, but have a GPS file/ description which indicates that a great loop ride of somewhat just over 40km can be had in the area. Other accounts indicated that it drains well.
So, if you want to experiment together with me, sign up!
If you know the area, you can still join, but don't tell the group.
You would not want to loose out an opportunity on watching the rest of the group to get lost, right!
Cheers,
Volker
Berowra
Corner of Gully and Berowra Waters Road.
A brief but enjoyable ride around local trails - Some firetrail, some technical singletrack. Quick pace, but sure isn't a race.
Galston Gorge. Third time lucky.
End of Stewart Ave, Hornsby
Let's see if we (I) can finally get one of these rides in without it being poured out.
Just the usual Quarry Road return, rather brisk pace - need to get back quickly for my Year 12 exam block the two weeks suceeding, but am anxious to get back on the bike!
Frenchs Forest East to Sydney Olympic Park and Return Easy Endurance
Corner of Rodborough and Warringah Roads, Frenchs Forest
With the crap weather forecast through into the weekend, I'm going to take my normal commute route that I haven't done for awhile and turn it into an out-and-back loop to Sydney Olympic Park. Total distance will be 55 km or so,plus wharever the Olympic 4X circuit is, conditions permitting (so fit your fat tyres!).
Apart from some stints on Warringah Road, Babbage/Boundary and the very short Victoria Road section, this is on roads with manageable traffic or suburban streets, and forms my midweek commute when working at SOP.
