Scott 24
Hey all,
So I noticed there's going to be a few people from NOBMOB participating in the scott.
Any hints or tips from the seasoned vets of the event?
Where's the best area to to try and score a camp site? Or doesn't it matter...
I'm really looking forward to it, I'm in a mixed team of 4.
Cheers
Tark

Tougher than expected
That was harder than I expected. Because it was relatively flat, you were on the gas pretty much the whole time.

Marramarra National Park update for 26 Sep
Collingridge track is in fine condition. Coba Ridge is extremely eroded, but that's exactly how we want it!

The Switchbacks
Single track climb with some very steep switchbacks.
Technical Climb
Tricky little climbing section with a number of rocks to clear.
Del Rio Gully
Awesome technical descent.
Firetrail
Vicious climb from near the river to slight descent at the North end before entering clearing and choosing which line to descend.

Cranks slipping forward
I went for a ride this morning where I had this horrible kind of slipping when pedaling under load. At first i thought it was the rear derailleur slipping between gears but it was definitely not that. It was kind of as if it was slipping forward as I was pedaling and not "catching" properly, each time I did it it made a very unhealthy clunking sound. It occurs no matter what gear I am in and what cog I am on so I have discounted that. I had someone watch as I pedaled under load and they said that they could not see the chain obviously getting caught anywhere or skipping between gears/cogs.
