A couple minutes of footage of the trail recently opened at Mount Annan.

Well worth heading there to check it out. It has parking, toilets and water at the trail head. Facilities near trail head are family friendly too.

There is also a more professional movie made by TrailFlix available here:

Marramarra expedition

When:
Sunday, 10 October, 2010 - 08:00

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Marramarra National Park
Meeting Point:

Bloodwood Road, Fiddletown heads up to the National Park. There's a sharp right bend by Marramarra Ridge Trail, with Coba Point Fire Trail shortly after (the proceeding sharp left). There's parking by either trail which are less than 1km apart, but the area by Coba Point Fire Trail is the go.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

Checkout the trail description about Marramarra in the NoBMoB trail descriptions.

We'll discuss exactly where to go at the time of the ride, though I'm keen to embark on the adventureous Smugglers descent and steep climb up from the creek, though the Coba Ridge track (remnicient to the Old Great North Road) also appeals to me. Comment to tell me what you'd rather do.

NOTE I'VE CHANGED THE TIME OF THE RIDE!!!

Bleeds & more

Ah... more work on the bikes. Brake bleed front & rear for Rush & Pratiwi's Trek. Wow - what a difference, especially to hers. Should have see the cr@p that came out of the front line on the Rush! I suspect it needs a new one (brake line that is), or maybe some seals. Anyhow - let's see how it holds up.

New rear pads for the Rush too. It's been in need of a new BB for a while, this will happen later today or tomorrow, depending on how much in need of a snooze I am after lunch Eye-wink

Anyone keen for a Red Hill blast SAT 25th arvo?

Late notice I know, but is anyone up for a spin around the hill. I usually start at the sports camp end.
I have work on this morning but should be able to make 2pm.
Otherwise the dam is an option, or anywhere for that matter!
Cheers Mike
