Newbie needs riding partners ...
Hey I'm just getting into MTB riding really keen, trying to ride once a weekend at least, but I need some people to ride with? I think these group rides that are posted up here might be too technical for me to start with so I may not keep up. If anyone's keen on a few MTB rides with a newbie let me know !

Anyone interested in joining a 4 man team for the Scott? Looking for another member for a social team. Keen to punch out as many laps as we can and also enjoy the atmosphere. No serious expectations.
Giant Anthem X3 - Seat Suggestions
Hi, Can anyone recommend a comfortable seat for a Giant Anthem X3. The seat that comes with the Giants is a bit too tough for my tail.

Hi folks,
Anybody interested in competing in Terra Australis next year - March 21-25 ? All entry categories are teams of two this year.
Mt Annan
Just curious as to how many mobbers got out to Mt Annan over the opening weekend?
Any feedback?
Thought it was good but it was very much an enduro training track with a lot of exposed single track, next to some huge tanning power towers.
There were a lot of very tight switchbacks which resulted in lack of speed being picked up which was my biggest criticism.
Bridges were great and the artificial rock gardens werent bad either. A lot of smaller branch stubs still exposed which resulted in 3 flatties in our group.

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
If coming up from Glenbrook we will be catching the 9:23 which arrives at Wentworth Falls at 10:11am. From here we will head to the park next to the station to fill up with water and head off
If all goes well this will be at a reasonable pace with the odd break for food and a quick rest eg top of Bedford creek climb to get some air
No hazard reduction activities planned in the area and the tracks are open.
Stromlo Forest Park update for 13 Sep
Stromlo has mud which is unusual! But it's certainly open and as fun as ever, most tracks dry.

Sparrow Hill update for 13 Sep
There's a bit of water around but not a big issue. A few boggy sections and water in the creek crossings near the entry.
