Total Fireban / trail closure at NP's (20/11/09)
The fireban / trail closure is now in force from 8:00 am this morning. (Friday 20/11/09)
We went for an early 6:30 am lap of reverse DH/Centre (no signs then) and loaded the bikes back in the car outside the NP gate just as the NPWS guys started to put up the RED signs for trail closure.
Had a short friendly chat with the NPWS guy and he said that they are assessing it on a daily basis.
"Trail closure is for all firetrails in the KG/Garigal NP."
Please stay off the trails for your own safety.
