What the Doctor Ordered?
Happy days... today concludes my training for the Angry Doctor!
Now all there is to do is a few gentle laps of the pool during the week. And perhaps a gentle night ride on Wednesday. Maybe.
According to GC in the last 30 days I've managed:
Rides: 13
Total distance: 508km
Total climbed: 10,986m
Total time: 37h45m22s
Avg Speed: 13.5 km/h
Avg HR: 135 bpm
Energy: 27,809 calories
Interestingly a lot of this (228km, 4,651m) has been done in the last week. Yes, definitely time for a rest
Hopefully before this time next week we'll know if that was enough

Slow Sunday Laps?
Anyone feel like a few (3?) laps of the Dam tomorrow? Not too early... perhaps 10:30?
I won't be looking to break any records, just a nice steady pace.

looking for weekend training group
Hi names Christian, Ex roadie living at guildford looking for a weekend group training ride.good base level of fittness but declining quickly due to the lack of riding, regular rides are yellowmundee, ourimbah & oaks.I really need to get fit again but lack the motivation to train by myself.
Can anyone help?

6 days with a leaky brake
First post...yay me
Being relatively new to MTB, and the world of hyrdaulic disc brakes in particular, I need a word of advice.
Riding to work southwards down the Spit during the week my front brake decided it would be of no apparent use. The back works fine. I tested it once I rolled over the bridge, finding that it did very little to stop me, and barely even slowed me down. They're Tektro Auriga Comp hydros on a Mongoose Amasa Comp.

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

The glow in the dark ride
Hiya,
i'm coming up to Sydney to do some work at ANSTO from 19-27th September and would like to get out to check out the local trails while i'm there. First suggestion would be to meet up on Wednesday night - but i'm reasonably flexible to get out with some locals rather than have to ride on my own.
hope to see some of you out on the trails
