First Ride in a Month!

For various reasons I haven't ridden for a month, and in all that time swimming a few laps on one occasion is the only exercise I've put in. Oh dear, oh dear.

Well, it's a nice day so just went for a gentle trundle around the streets I usually commute on and managed 23km, 500-ish vertical in about 75 mins. OMG, what a disgrace! In summer I was doing over 30km and twice the vertical on the commute home in maybe 15 mins more. That said, I was taking it very easy today.

Now all the trails have to do is dry out and can do some real riding Smiling

Menai action 060609

This was our 5th ride of Menai. Gradually building the confidence and skill set required to make the most of the challenging terrain. Confident that we could finally follow in the tracks of those that ride this trail the way it was intended..........Smiling

PM Upgrade - Clean your inbox!

I'm thinking of upgrading the PM module to a newer (and naturally better) version. It changes the way things work to more of a 'chat' model than being similar to email as now.

Trouble is that as this is completely different model there is no upgrade path and will have to clear (delete) all messages in the system.

I notice there's 137 unread messages lying around but over 14,000 in total. NB: privacy advocates can chill out: 'select newmsg, count(*) from privatemsg group by newmsg;' doesn't exactly tell you anything but counts Sticking out tongue

Any objections? I would archive the old table of course and be able to pull out anyone's mailbox and email it to them on request.
