Take a punt on MagicShine?

Someone gonna take a punt on this set of lights and tell us if they are carp or not?

Single SSC P7 with 4x18650 li-ion batteries. They quote 3hr burn time on full power (allegedly 900lm). Those numbers might be a bit optimistic but at this price it's worth a punt for someone surely? Eye-wink

AMBC / NOBMOB Skills Day on a Sunday

I have PM'ed AMBC and they will hold a AMBC/NOBMOB training day on a Sunday if there is interest.

I am tentatively planning this training day for Sunday 21st June (dependent on AMBC say this day suits them). If they are unavailable it will be some other Sunday in June or July when the Ourimbah track is free.

If you interested in a Sunday training session identical to the one that is now Saturday 20th June please add a comment and say so.

You Know You're Addicted to Cycling When... Eye-wink

Your surgeon tells you need a heart valve replacement and you ask if you have a choice between presta and schrader.

A Power Bar starts tasting better than a Snickers.

You wear your heart monitor to bed to make sure you stay within your target zone during any extracurricular activities.

The funeral director tells you "NO!" you can't ride your Cannondale in the funeral procession, even if you keep your headlight on.

You experience an unreasonable envy over someone who has bar end extenders longer than yours.

Manly Dam - Cancelled

When:
Wednesday, 17 June, 2009 - 20:00

Ride Database Entry:
Manly Dam
Meeting Point:

King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

I want to get out on my bike at night again so I am off to one of my favourites for a night ride Manly so any one else up for a fun ride around the dam at night.

This is the one for you if you are short on time and have to start a little later and aren’t fused about hanging around at the pub afterwards. So starting a little later than the usual I should be ready to go at 8.00pm for a moderately paced fun social lap I like to keep it simple on Wednesday nights so the normal loop is the go but I can be flexible and if others want to take some detours then I will follow no problem.

Slow first race

First race back at Ourimbah for some time, top fun as always up there. Little slow but plenty of room for improvement Smiling
