I had my valedictory dinner last night down at acer arena so we stayed close by and couldn't resist getting up early to go check out what they had on offer. Great place for an early AM muck around.

Making progress with it.

Roosters??

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I was riding that singletrack before the Golfcourse at the Dam Wednesday arvo, came round a corner and there was a great big rooster standing in the middle of the trail!!

It turned and bolted, but with no where to go it just ran along the singletrack at full pelt with me riding along right behind it. This went for about 100 meters before it jumped into a clearing on the side of the trail. Was hell funny - never seen a rooster run so fast!

Hello ladies!

I got this e-mail a couple of days ago and was thinking there might be a secret journalist out there waiting for her calling? (Not me unfortunately Eye-wink!)

Cheers

Hi there,

As you are all aware, Mountain Biking is skewed firmly towards to the
blokes, as far as numbers of participants is concerned. My employer at
www.trailflix.com.au., Grant Shatford has put out the call for a MTB girl to
do some writing for this Sydney based MTB site.

The basic requirements of the column is;
200-500 words per week with one or two images focussing on women specific

For sale: towbar bike rack

Does anyone want to buy a towbar bike rack off me? I have replaced the rubbers that the bikes sit on with innertube rubber. I no longer have a car with a tow bar.
$20 and it is yours.

For sale: 2001 GT I drive.

Anyone want to buy a 2001 GT Idrive?
Specs as follows:
Deore shifters and deraileurs
27 speed
Marzzochi bomber triple clamp forks
Alex disc rims
Diatech anchor hydraulic disc brakes (160mm rear 180mm front).
I can email photos if you are interested or you can come and see the bike at Waverton (BH) or Marsfield (AH).

I prefere riding cross country and the bike is too plush for my needs.

Cheers
Matt

Approximate Ride plan:
Start at Cromer->Red Hill->Oxford Falls->Belrose->St Ives->Terrey Hills->Ingleside (Bahai Temple)-> Deep Creek -> Narrabeen Lake-> Cromer

Majority will be off-Road trails, some trail linking along roads. Plenty of fire trails, single track, downhills, and other fun stuff...

Bring some food, and plenty of water.

Moderate pace, not fast... just want to build up some km's, and enjoy the trails etc...
