Mountainbike orienteering - 26 August
Has anyone here done any mountainbike orienteering? I did one race - it was fun, but I really sucked at it! (reason being that I just rode the tracks between checkpoints which looked interesting, rather than were fast. I ignored the fireroad and bitumen and cruised on the slow singletrack 
The NSW MTBO club are running another race near Raymond Terrace up North - on the 28th August.

Wollemi National Park
Just signed up to NoBMoB and wanted to discuss riding in Wollemi National Park. Anyone been there and explored? I saw a fire track on a map called Mountain Lagoon Fire Track and wanted to see if anyone has explored it. The area is amazing, close to Sydney, and not as populated as the Blue Mountains.

THIS RIDE IS NOW CANCELLED, unless someone else wants to take up the thread. Sorry guys and gals, too much I should be doing before my boys Baptism this weekend.
For those that can't make Wednesday night, or those that want a change from TH.
Start near the oval, road around to the entry behind the houses onto Ridge track, DOWN Quarry, turn left upto the power station, one or two laps of the sniggle, back down the FT, Lower Cambourne then Cascades back to the cars. Depending who is there we may add a little to this.
Tour of Oaks?
Well with Andrew planning a night ride of the Oaks, I want to have a look at the trail in the day before I try it at night!
Is anyone keen on showing me round there during the day possibly this weekend? I know Shano has planned a big ride in Galston so I can do Sunday too if that works better.

Due to injuries and equipment malfunctions this ride is postponed. Although I'm up for a local ride in the arvo.

That ride diary is very full! So I'd better post this one for the diaries...
The aim is to hit the oaks / helipad at dusk. Therefore one lot of us will probably start the Anderson's track about a few hours beforehand and if you want to we can meet up with you at Woodford station and then do the oaks. Well get some proper times up closer to the date
Good lights are essential.

I've had the following theft reported to me, fairly common bike & build so wont stand out much but if you see something and it looks a bit suspicious let me know & I'll pass on the details to the owner.
