Terrey Hills update for 14 Apr
Rode Perimeter and Long today from the Japanese School. From there, the track was in pretty good nick with only the occasional puddle.
The section from Nerang Rd to the Jap schools is *mostly* good, however there are a few unavoidable puddles near the Nerang Rd end that will plague your drivetrain and brakes with dreadful sandy grinding noises for the rest of the ride if you start from there.
Rating it green for the Japanese School entrance.

Lane Cove National Park update for 14 Apr
Rode through from Browns Waterhole to Pennant Hills park today and the main fire trail is now almost completely dry.

Freeload bike racks
All,
Many moons ago I bought a Freeload bike rack, thinking that I'd make great use out of it bike touring all over the state. Fast forward two years and I have dusted it off, set it up properly and now I know why people were/are raving about it.
Despite my best efforts I've realised I need a front rack for the dually (as well as the rear rack I already own - with the side panels). No one seems to be stocking Freeload racks anymore and Thule dealers suggest July 2013 is when stock comes in. I'm in a bind as I head down to the snowy mountains next weekend.

Not sure on "official" status, but I did a couple of laps this morning and it was in good condition. There were signs that moto's had been on the trail but had kept to the sides and not gouged ruts in to the dirt.

Time ATAC XS pedals... worn too soon ?
Hi All..
Just wondering if any other time atac XS user out there is facing with the same issue as I am.
These pedals are only 1.5 years old, my right foot is normally the foot that I unclip 99% of the time and because of that the pedal have developed a worn/concave section on the main body. They are quite loose now to the point where they can unclip whilst pedalling hard, especially when you're pulling the cranks up with your hamstring. I've demoted them to commuting duties.
Wanted: Ay Up Lights
I am looking for anyone who is willing to part with one set of ay up lights. I am not looking for kits, just the light and the battery depending on age. Just can't afford to buy new at the moment.

Was originally going to ride Duck, Centre then out to Long but after Duck realised its wetter than i expected. So for Duck Holes and Centre verdict... its still rideable but no KOM's today - gluggy and slow. Still had fun though having a cruise

Old Man's Valley update for 13 Apr
Stunning in the valley early this morning, mist and fog blanketed the lower northern trails and the track was grippy and mostly completely dry. There are two puddles on the northern ascent but posed little problem. The recent work synergy trails and volunteers have done with rock armouring and general trail work was excellent.
Plenty of people out early as well, reckon there would have been at least 20 on the trail and another 10 or so getting ready to ride.
