Manly Dam update for 15 Apr
Generally good condition, just a few small puddles. However, it looks like council/other contractors have been through and dredged the water channel on the side of the trail between Manly Vale Public School and Water Reserve Rd. Good idea to help the water flow better, but they've dumped the mud/clay straight onto the track. 1/2 foot deep mud makes for a nasty surprise at the top of the climb near Water Reserve Rd.

GARAGE SALE
Due to my forks being ruined, I am selling off certain parts & keeping others. You can see the original full specs at http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-au/bikes/model/...
This bike has been used & used well. All items have signs of wear, however work perfectly. The forks is the only let down... I am building a new Niner so I'm selling off parts.

Yellomundee RP track maintenance
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
Do you ride at Yellomundee? Then please help maintain and improve the mtb tracks there by helping out at one of WSMTB's track maintenance mornings. All very welcome! If every mtb rider helped somewhere at least once per year, then Sydney's tracks would be superb.
At our last effort on 6 April, a steep drop with rotting wooden pallets was hardened using rock facing. This helps make the tracks more sustainable. Edges were also cut back, etc.

Round 3 of the WSMTB XC series for 2013 will be held on Sunday 19 May. All welcome!
Rego from 8am to 8:50am (sharp) so that we can get the U13s away at 9am. U10s event at 8.30am. U15s and Seniors at 9.30am.

Cascades update for 14 Apr
Entered from Ralston and down through Health, Bear and Cascades to Slone Parade and Borgnis all in nice condition - unlike me after 12 mths of not riding !

Cobalt 3 Wheelset
Evening folks,
Anyone got/tried the Cobalt 3 or Cobalt 2 wheel set? 29er?
Whats the general opinion on these?
Any suggestions for similar wheels at that price range $650-$950. Must be able to have a 142x12mm Maxle on the rear . . . .
